Pre-payments, deposits, and securing appointments with a credit card

If you'd like to request that clients pre-pay their appointment, pay a deposit or provide their credit card details to secure an appointment booked online, these settings are available from your 'Booking online' settings.
- Choose your preferred option i.e. pre-payment, deposit or request credit card details.
- Select which appointments require this option. You can apply these settings for all appointments or only specific ones.
- For deposits, you also need to specify if you'd like clients to pay a set dollar amount or a fixed percentage of the service fee.
When credit card requests are on, card details are securely stored and encrypted in your client's account. This enables you to charge the card for all future services or apply a cancellation fee if the client cancels outside the specified terms. Please note, this feature is only available via our paid plan.
