Setting up bookings online
My Appointments
Last Update 4 years ago
To allow online bookings, you'll need to ensure your online bookings are switched on in the settings page. You'll also need to check your individual services to specify which appointments are available for online bookings. To do this, click on the Services setting and check the 'Booking online' column. To turn on/off online bookings for this service, click on the three dots beside the appointment and then click edit.
If you're services are all set up correctly, go to your booking online settings and follow these steps:
- Specify your cancellation, booking and reschedule lead times. This tells our system when to allow or disallow clients to book or make adjustments to their appointments. For example, if you specify a 24 hour lead time, this means your clients cannot book an appointment within the next 24 hours even if you have times available. Likewise, if you specify a 24 hour cancellation or reschedule lead time, our system will not allow your clients to cancel or reschedule their appointments within 24 hours of the appointment.
- If you have more than one service provider in your practice, specify which service providers allow online bookings.
- To set a requirement for deposits or prepayments to secure bookings, select yes and then specify which appointments you'd like this to apply to.
- Set a cancellation message. This displays every time your clients book an appointment.
Your clients will now be able to book their appointments online via their My Appointments account. If you'd like to send a booking link direct to your clients and/or you want to display a Book Now button on your website, please visit this article.
