There are four types of users that can be added to your My Appointments account. Each user type has its own purpose, level of access, and cost.
1. Administrator
- Access: Full administrative permissions (customisable)
- Calendar: No personal calendar provided
- Cost: Free
Admins are ideal for team members who manage business operations or client communication but don’t need their own appointment calendar.
2. Service provider
- Access: Same permissions as an admin (customisable)
- Calendar: Includes a personal calendar where clients can book 1-1 appointments
- Instructor: Can also be given an Instructor role to run group sessions
- Cost: $15/month (inc GST) per user on a paid plan. $22/month (inc GST) per user on a free plan
Service providers are typically practitioners or staff members who see clients for 1-1 consults and may run group sessions.
3. Instructor (coming soon)
- Access: Same permissions as an admin (customisable)
- Calendar: No personal calendar provided
- Cost: $11/month (inc GST) per user
Instructors are perfect for those running classes, workshops, or group sessions without needing their own appointment calendar.
4. Service provider & instructor
- Cost: $15/month (inc GST) per user on paid plans.
User will be assigned both roles.
Custom permissions
Each user type has its own login and customisable permissions, allowing you to control what each team member can view or manage inside your account.
Account holder
If you are the primary account holder, you’ll automatically be assigned all user roles.
